HDEC华东勘测设计研究院

HDEC plans, surveys, designs and builds energy, water and infrastructure projects, from hydropower and pumped-storage plants to wind farms. Founded in 1954, the institute has its head office at 201 Gaojiao Road in Yuhang District and works in more than 70 countries and regions. It has planned, surveyed and designed more than 100 large and medium hydropower projects in China and abroad, including Baihetan, a 16,000 MW station whose units have all been running since December 2022 and whose key technologies won a first-class National Science and Technology Progress Award. Recent projects include Azerbaijan’s largest wind farm and a 600 MW wind project in Laos.
