Bank of Hangzhou杭州银行

Bank of Hangzhou is a city commercial bank serving companies, private clients and small businesses, with branches in the Yangtze River Delta and other regions of China. It was formed in September 1996 from 33 urban credit cooperatives and has its head office at 168 Jiefang East Road in Shangcheng District. In 2025 operating income was 38.8 billion yuan and net profit rose 12.1 per cent to 19.0 billion yuan. Listed in Shanghai since October 2016, it counts Australia’s Commonwealth Bank among its shareholders, with 5.56 per cent in 2023.
