Huace Film & TV produces and distributes Chinese TV dramas and films, and is also active in animation, music, artist management and cinemas. Its core team started out in 1992, the company was set up in 2005 and in October 2010 it became the first Chinese TV-drama producer to list, on Shenzhen’s ChiNext board; it is based in Xihu District and chaired by Zhao Yifang. In 2025 revenue rose 45.9 per cent to 2.83 billion yuan, while net profit fell 21 per cent to 191 million yuan. Huace sells its programmes in more than 200 countries and regions and set up its own AI applications research institute in 2023.
