Uniview makes IP cameras, network video recorders and other video-surveillance products under brands such as UNV and Uniarch. Its roots go back to 2005; Uniview itself counts 2011 as its founding year, when Bain Capital bought the video-surveillance business from Hewlett-Packard, and China Transinfo has owned it since 2018. Its headquarters is on Xietong Road in Binjiang District, and it has sold abroad since 2014. In 2021 revenue was 6.07 billion yuan.
