About the company

DEEP Robotics builds Jueying quadruped robots for inspecting power grids and tunnels and for rescue work, and also develops humanoid robots. It was founded in 2017 by Zhu Qiuguo and Li Chao, both Zhejiang University PhDs, and is based in Xihu District. The Jueying X30, launched in October 2023, works at temperatures from -20 °C to 55 °C; in January 2025 it was reported that Singapore Power Group would use it to inspect its cable tunnels. DEEP Robotics is one of Hangzhou’s ‘six little dragons’.
