Hangzhou Minsheng Pharmaceutical makes medicines and vitamin products, including the 21 Super-Vita multivitamin brand and drugs for cancer, cardiovascular and digestive diseases. It traces its roots to the Tongchun pharmacy company of 1926, one of China’s four earliest makers of Western medicines; it became Minsheng Pharmaceutical Factory in October 1936 and took its current name in August 2009. It has launched more than 200 products and sells them in 38 countries and regions. With France’s Sanofi it set up the company Sanofi Winthrop Minsheng.
